Thank You!!!

I really appreciate all of you Ladies in the office, nurse Laura and all the wonderful doctors that have been a part of my road to Recovery. I appreciate you guys working with my crazy schedule but more than that helping me become totally free of all substances. I spent many years, actually most of my adult life dependent on some type of substance, it feels absolutely amazing to be free from it all! I couldn’t ask for a better doctor’s office to help me get through this stage of my life. It’s been over 90 days since I have been there, and I feel wonderful. I have worked very hard in my career, as a mother, as a leader but this was what I couldn’t seem to conquer. I am proud to say that I have achieved my current goal in sobriety and don’t plan on looking back. I can’t recall the last time I felt this good, I can finally sleep, I have a healthy amount of energy, no crazy mood swings, amongst a lot of other positive things. I one hundred percent could not have done this without all of you! I don’t think any of you will ever fully know how much you’ve impacted my life!

For us it’s a family affair, unfortunately my significant other and I fell into drug addiction a number of years ago.  Having tried and failed to quit on our own we lost everything, our children our home our marriage. Last year, 2013, I finally had enough and my husband and I both called VAMed and started treatment.  It was the beginning of our life again.  The staff and VAMed has been and is fantastic, worked with us on our schedule and more.

Always kind and courteous the staff also shared stories that we needed to hear.  Often when you sit in the waiting room, patients and staff interact and some real good and helpful topics will be discussed. In our case the transformation has been priceless, within a few months we had our children back and then we found out we were expecting another and recently welcomed our new baby into the world.  My husband has been keeping a steady job, we have a nice home and I am a new and happy mom with healthy children. I cannot thank the staff at VAMed enough for all the support they have given us. We highly recommend VAMed to anyone that is in trouble with addiction.

I had called 5 places prior to calling VAMed and had almost given up when I called VAMed and then spoke with a staff member. It was such a relief, it wasn’t like any other Doctors office I had called, they talked to me and asked me questions about myself, and they encouraged me for the decision I made to call for help. They understood what I was going through because as I learned later, most of the staff at VAMed is also in recovery.

I scheduled my first appointment with ease and when I arrived was greeted warmly and treated with respect. The entire staff at VAMed was kind, courteous and professional. I am not sure where I would be today if I had not gotten a hold of the staff at VAMed. I have said to the staff and to anyone that I would speak to that VAMed saved my life. I can highly recommend this place, if you need help with opioid dependence this is the place to go. Thank you VAMed.

I have been a patient at VAMed for a number of years and highly recommend VAMed to anyone seeking help with addiction from opioids. The staff is very helpful and I have known one of the staff members for a long time. Not just has this place helped me live a normal life, but one of the staff members has also become a dear friend whom I can share my issues with and get great insight without judgment.

The Doctors take their time and don’t rush you out of their office. Some days I don’t need a long time but some days I need to talk and they listen, where do you get that anymore? Most places you go to it feels like you are on the clock but not VAMed. You need help, call VAMed; they will welcome you and help you.
